Nurturing Future Generations
Servicing our local community since 1987
Riverdale Childcare has been proudly supporting the Kelmscott community since 1987, providing a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for local families. With decades of experience and long standing staff, we are dedicated to caring for and educating children from as young as 6 weeks right through to 12 years of age.
We focus on fostering each child’s wellbeing, confidence and development, building strong foundations in the earliest years and continuing to support growth, learning and independence as children progress through their school-age years.
Our long-standing connection to the community reflects our commitment to quality care, trusted relationships, and positive outcomes for every child and family we serve.
We pride ourselves in the longevity of staff we have here at Riverdale. Having a high work retention has allowed us to provide a stable and successful childcare service to our local community for over three decades.
Our point of difference
Riverdale Childcare & Community Centre operates as a not‑for‑profit organisation that supports high-quality care and community involvement. Our surplus funds are reinvested into the centre, resources, staff training and environments. We have the ability to offer families affordable fees, flexibility and are able to operate our centre on a generous budget across all aspects of the business.
Operating as a not-for-profit organisation means our volunteer committee play a crucial role in the governance and direction of our centre. Without a committee we cant operate. Our committee members help ensure the long-term success of our centre by contributing to decision making on important operational matters, supporting the governance of the centre, ensuring on-going success and well-being of our children and educators whilst working closely alongside the operations managers.
If you’re passionate and would love to get involved, have a voice and make a meaningful contribution to our centre or you’re simply interested in joining our Management Committee or learning more, please express your interest below. We would love to hear from you.
